Hi, I'm Anna!

I am a missionary serving with Bibles International, the Bible Society of Baptist Mid-Missions. My role in Bible translation is to support Bible translators through linguistics to bring God’s Word into the heart language of the millions who still need it. I am currently involved with pre-field ministry, connecting with prayer and financial partners so that I can serve full-time. What is Linguistics?

What is linguistics? Why is it important for Bible translation? Here I address these common questions as well as provide more details about what my responsibilities look like as a linguistics consultant.

Africa Internship

In 2024, I completed an internship with Bibles International where I was able to observe and participate in translation workshops in Benin and linguistic workshops in Chad. This gave me a great opportunity to see Bible translation projects on the field and get a better idea of how I could fit into this kind of a team.
